In [Invent. Math. 132, No. 3, 607--632 (1998; Zbl 1168.30023)], \textit{G. McShane} proved a striking identity for the lengths of simple closed geodesics on a cusped hyperbolic surface. In [J. Differ. Geom. 72, No. 1, 73--112 (2006; Zbl 1097.53031)], the authors generalized this identity and \textit{M. Mirzakhani}'s one [Invent. Math. 167, No. 1, 179--222 (2007; Zbl 1125.30039)] to hyperbolic surfaces with conical points (of angles at most \(\pi\)), cusps and/or geodesic boundary components. In this paper, the authors generalize this identity further to Schottky groups by complexifying the boundary length functions and proving analytic continuation for the series. An application to the Weierstrass identities is given and the example of the three-holed sphere is discussed.
