The main aim of this paper is to determine the inclusions among the ideals of completely \(p\)-summing maps on the operator Hilbert space \(OH\) for \(1 \leq p < \infty\). The author first extends Maurey and Pisier's extrapolation theorem [cf.\ \textit{G.\,Pisier}, Adv.\ Math.\ 93, No.\,1, 61--125 (1992; Zbl 0791.47015)] in the operator space setting and then shows that the completely \(p\)-summing ideals coincide for \(1\leq p<2\) and a phase transition occurs at \(p=2\), as the completely \(p\)-summing ideals turn out to be Schatten ideal classes \(S_{\frac{4p}{p+2}}\) for \(p \geq 2\). He also gives sharp bounds for the completely \(p\)-summing norm of the identity map on the \(n\)-dimensional operator Hilbert space \(OH_n\) and and the completely \((2,p)\)-mixing constant of \(OH_n\) for \(1<p<2\).
