The authors consider generalized solutions, in the Brenier's sense, of the incompressible Euler system in 1 and 2 dimensions. In dimension 1, they prove that, when the pressure is regular, the solution is unique. In dimension 2, they show that a large set of solutions may exist, and they construct new classical solutions for the system in a disc.
