This paper considers a shift-invariant system \(X=\{ \phi(\cdot-Bk) : \phi\in \Phi, k\in \mathbb{Z}^n\}\) in \(L^2(\mathbb{R}^n)\), where \(B\) is an invertible \(n\times n\) matrix and \(\Phi\) is a finite or countable subset of \(L^2(\mathbb{R}^n)\). The authors study the relationship between many features of such systems, such as being a frame for the whole space, being a Riesz basis, and having a unique shift-generated (oblique) dual of type I or II (see Definition 1.1). Many illustrative interesting examples are presented to demonstrate the theoretical results in this paper.
