Some notions extending the unique path lifting property from a homotopy viewpoint are defined. Then, their roles in the category of fibrations are studied. The authors deduce some results in the category of fibrations with these notions. Finally, two subgroups of the fundamental group \(\pi_1(X)\) of a space \(X\) related to the fibrations with these notions are presented and compared with two subgroups of \(\pi_1(X)\): the Spanier subgroup \(\pi_1^{sp}(X)\) [\textit{H. Fischer} et al., Topology Appl. 158, No. 3, 397--408 (2011; Zbl 1219.54028)] and the generalized covering subgroup \(\pi_1^{gc}(X)\) [\textit{J. Brazas}, Theory Appl. Categ. 30, 1132--1162 (2015; Zbl 1331.55009)].
