The paper is an important contribution to the subject of quadrature domains in \(\mathbb{R}^n\). In contrast to \(\mathbb{R}^2\), the authors show that in \(\mathbb{R}^4\) the boundary is not necessarily algebraic (Theorem 4 in the paper). Moreover, it is shown that the boundary can be described explicitly in terms of elliptic integrals of the third kind.
