The authors derive new effective dispersion models accounting for suitably evolving geometries. They consider a scenario involving reactive ions transport under a fluid flowing (with a high Peclet number) through a thin, potentially evolving strip. On top of this, electric charges and the induced electric potential give rise in this context to electro-osmosis superposed to the pressure-driven flow. The working technique is the formal two-scale (periodic) homogenization and the limiting asymptotic regime studied here is done in terms of the Debye length.
