Generalised polynomial chaos for a class of linear conservation laws (Q2276411): Difference between revisions

The paper deals with linear systems of conservation laws containing some uncertainties in the physical parameters which are described by random variables. The authors analyse the hyperbolicity of the corresponding coupled system of linear conservation laws from the polynomial chaos. Two numerical examples (wave equation and linearized shallow water equations) are presented for an illustration.
