The authors review the well-known restriction conjecture in the setting of mixed norm spaces \(L^p_{\mathrm{rad}}L^2_{\mathrm{ang}}(\mathbb{R}^n)\) and then established some new results for this conjecture. More precisely, the authors obtained sharp bounds for the restriction of the Fourier transform to compact hypersurfaces of revolution in the mixed norm setting and studied an extension of the disc multiplier. Moreover, some results for the discrete restriction conjecture were also presented.
