This work considers a system of equations with two free boundaries motivated by the problem of the growth of a tumour, which consists of proliferating cells and necrotic cells. It is shown that such a boundary problem has infinitely many bifurcation branches of non-flat stationary solutions. To achieve this result, the linearisation with the subsequent reducing into a bifurcation problem was evaluated. The biological output of the solved bifurcation problem supports mathematically the formation of finger-like structures, which accompany the tumour invasion.
