The author's aim is ``to study the relationships among the notions of majorization, factorization and range inclusion in the context of closed densely defined operators on a Banach space. In fact, his results extend Douglas range factorization theorem for unbounded operators on a Hilbert space to the setting of unbounded operators on a Banach space.'' He uses the theory of generalized inverses of closed densely defined operators on Banach spaces.
