Quoting from the paper's introduction: ``In this paper we give a systematic construction of automorphisms of rational surfaces with positive entropy, and investigate their dynamics. Specific cases yield: 1. Surface automorphisms with the minimum possible positive entropy; 2. Attracting basins of full measure, and Julia sets of measure zero; and 3. The first examples of projective algebraic varieties with Siegel disks.'' Results of \textit{M. Nagata} [Mem. Coll. Sci., Univ. Kyoto, Ser. A 32, 351--370 (1960; Zbl 0100.16703) and ibid. 33, 271--293 (1960; Zbl 0100.16801)] show that given a rational surface \(S\) and an automorphism \(F\) on \(S\) there is an element \(w\) of the appropriate Weyl group \(W_n\) that mirrors the action of \(F_*\) on \(H^2(S,Z)\). The automorphisms referred to above are obtained through a partial converse of Nagata's theorem, showing that if \(n\geq 10\), then each Coxeter element \(w\) in \(W_n\) has a corresponding rational surface automorphism \(F\), whose topological entropy can be calculated in terms of \(w\).
