This paper investigates a model of random surfaces arising in the so-called dimer model on the honeycomb lattice. The dimer covering, or perfect matching, of a finite graph is a set of edges covering all the vertices exactly once. The dimer model is the study of random dimer coverings of a graph. This models are statistical mechanical models for discrete random interfaces. In the most part of this paper the author discuss the uniform measure on dimer coverings.
