The main result of this paper is a description of compressed Drinfeld associators that obey the compressed pentagon and hexagon equations in the quotient \(L/[[L,L],[L,L]]\), where \(L\) is the Lie algebra in which Drinfeld associators live. The key ingredient is an explicit form of Campbell-Baker-Hausdorff formula in the case when all commutators commute.
