For a class of chemotactic models with nonlinear secretion in 2D or 3D, a linearized decoupled Crank-Nicolson fully discrete scheme is developed by Galerkin FEM. The authors show that the designed scheme reduces the dimension of the coefficient matrix significantly in numerical simulation compared with the implicit schemes by eliminating the difficulties caused by the strong coupling term in the system. The unconditional superclose results in \(H_1\)-norm allow using large time steps, which is advantageous for the long-time simulation of the model. Interpolation post-processing techniques obtain superconvergence results. The numerical results validate the theoretical analysis.
