The authors investigate a predator-prey model with constant-yield predator harvesting and show that for certain parameter families a Takens-Bogdanov bifurcation of codimension 3 occurs. By a series of explicitely stated coordinate transformations they transform their original model into an unfolded normal form for the degenerate Takens-Bogdanov bifurcation. It is shown, that a rich variety of solutions exists close to the bifurcation point, like coexisting stable and unstable periodic orbits, periodic orbits and homoclinic loops, and homoclinic bifurcations. The analytical results are confirmed by a series of numerical simulations.
