The paper deals with the Mellin-Hörmander inequality with the optimal loss of \(\frac{k}{2}-\frac{1}{4}\)\ derivatives for the classes \(\mathcal{N} ^{m,k},m\in \mathbb{R},k\) an integer \(\geq 1,\) of classical pseudodifferential operators \(P=Op^{w}(p)\) in the Weil quantization, where \[ \text{ }p(x,\xi )=p_{m}(x,\xi )+\dots+p_{m-j}(x,\xi )+\dots,~(x,\xi )\in T^{\ast } \mathbb{R}^{n}\backslash 0, \] and \(p_{m-j}\)\ is positively homogeneous in \(\xi \) of degree \(m-j\) vanishing at order \((k-2j)_{+}\)\ on a smooth homogenous submanifold \(\Sigma \) of \( T^{\ast }\mathbb{R}^{n}\backslash 0.\) Under some suitable hypothesis on \(P=Op^{w}(p)\in \mathcal{N}^{m,k},\)\ the authors prove that \(\exists C>0,\forall u\in S,\) \[ (Pu,u)\geq -C\left\| u\right\| _{\frac{m}{2}-\frac{k}{2}-\frac{1}{4} }^{2}, \] and they show that this inequality is optimal.
