This paper deals with the nonlinear Navier-Stokes equations; it establishes for a certain class of domains a priori estimate for the bounded composition operator \(S(t)P\partial\) where \(S(t)\) denotes the Stokes semigroup and \(P\) the Helmholtz projection in a space of bounded functions, implying thereby the unique existence of mild solutions of the Navier-Stokes equations.
