The authors study the Hardy-Littlewood-Sobolev (HLS) inequality and the Riesz transforms for fractional integration associated to weighed orthogonal polynomial expansions (WOPEs) on the sphere \(S^{d-1}=\{ x\in R^{d}:\| x\| =1\}\), on the ball \(B^{d}=\{ x\in R^{d}:\| x\| \leq1\}\) and on the simplex \(T^{d}=\{x\in R^{d}:x_{1}, \dots,x_{d}\geq 0,| x|\leq 1\}\) with weights being invariant under a general finite reflection group on \(R^{d}\). First they get results on the sphere \(S^{d-1}\). An important too; for their proof is the weighted Christoffel function on the sphere. They establish sharp asymptotic estimates of the Christoffel functions and apply them to establish highly localized pointwise estimates of some important kernel functions in spherical h-harmonic expansion. Then they deduce similar results on the unit Ball \(B^{d}\), based on the connection between WOPEs on \(B^{d}\) and spherical h-harmonic expansions on the sphere \(S^{d}\subset R^{d+1}\) and on the simplex \(T^{d}\) based on the connection between WOPEs on \(R^{d}\) and WOPEs on \(T^{d}\).
