In the paper under review, the author gives the alternative characterisation, that an algebra is gendo-symmetric if and only if its \(k\)-dual \(D(A)\) can be equipped with the structure of an \(A\)-coring, also called a bocs. He also shows that the Kleisli category of the associated comonad is equivalent to the module category of the corresponding symmetric algebra. | |||
