The authors show that under certain conditions, on a symplectic surface in \(\mathbb CP^2\) with constant (positive) holomorphic sectional curvature, the symplectic mean curvature flow exists for long time and that it converges to a holomorphic curve at infinity. Considering two pinching estimates, they also prove that they are preserved by the symplectic mean curvature flow.
