The author studies the graded identities for the matrix algebra \(M_n(F)\) of order \(n\) over a field \(F\) of characteristic 0. He considers elementary gradings (that is gradings by a group \(G\) such that all elementary matrices \(E_{ij}\) are homogeneous) under the natural assumption that all diagonal matrices belong to the neutral component in the grading. The main result of the paper is the description of the graded central polynomials for such gradings. The author describes generators of the (graded) T-space of the graded central polynomials. Recall that a graded T-space in the free graded algebra is a vector subspace that is homogeneous with respect to the grading and that is closed under all endomorphisms that respect the grading. | |||
