The authors consider the space \(BMO_0(\mathbb R, X)\) of vector-valued odd \(BMO\) functions and extend to the vector-valued case the scalar-valued results in previous papers by \textit{J. J. Betancor} et al. [Integral Equations Oper. Theory 66, No. 4, 463--494 (2010; Zbl 1193.42096); J. Math. Anal. Appl. 363, No. 1, 310--326 (2010; Zbl 1184.42015)]. They manage to show several Bessel versions of theorems where the Fourier transform is now replaced by the Hankel transformation given by \[ h_\lambda(f)(x)=\int_0^\infty \sqrt{xy} J_{\lambda-1/2}(xy)f(y)\,dy. \] For instance, they show that functions in \(BMO_0(\mathbb R, X)\) are described using Carleson-type conditions involving the Bessel convolution and \(\gamma\)-radonifying norms. Also, they characterize the \(UMD\) conditions using certain \(\gamma\)-radonifying Carleson inequalities for Bessel-Poisson integrals on \(BMO_0(\mathbb R, X)\), giving an analogue to the results by \textit{T. P. Hytönen} and \textit{L. Weis} [J. Fourier Anal. Appl. 16, No. 4, 495--513 (2010; Zbl 1214.42038)] in the Bessel setting.
