Let \(\mathbb{D}\) denote the unit disc of \(\mathbb{C}\). For \(\alpha>0\), the family \(\mathcal{F}_\alpha\) of fractional Cauchy transforms consists of functions \(f\) such that \[ f(z) = \int_{\mathbb{T}} \frac{d\mu(\zeta)}{(1- z\overline{\zeta})^\alpha}, \quad z\in \mathbb{D}, \] for some Borel measure \(\mu\) on the unit circle \(\mathbb{T}=\partial\mathbb{D}\). Let \(\varphi: \mathbb{D}\to\mathbb{D}\) be a holomorphic mapping. If \(\alpha\geq 1\), then the composition operator \(C_\varphi: f \mapsto f\circ\varphi\) is known to be bounded for any \(\varphi\). For \(0<\alpha<1\), the author gives several conditions which imply that \(\varphi\) induces a bounded operator \(C_\varphi: \mathcal{F}_\alpha\to \mathcal{F}_\alpha\). Such conditions involve \(\varphi^\prime\), multipliers of \(\mathcal{F}_\alpha\), and the generalized Nevanlinna counting function. | |||
