Let \({\mathcal H}(2)\) be the space of pairs \((M,\omega)\), where \(\omega\) is a holomorphic 1-form with only one zero of order two on a Riemann surface \(M\) of genus two. There is a natural action of the multiplicative group \({\mathbb C}^*\) on \({\mathcal H}(2)\) and the main result of the paper under review is that the quotient space \({\mathcal H}(2)/{\mathbb C}^*\) is homeomorphic to the quotient space \(\Gamma\setminus{\mathcal J}_2\), where \(\Gamma\) is a certain subgroup of \(\text{Sp}(4,{\mathbb Z})\) and \({\mathcal J}_2\) is the Jacobian locus of Riemann surfaces of genus two in the Siegel upper half-space. | |||
