The authors study the behavior of nonnegative solutions to the problem \[ u_t=\Delta (u^m)+a(x)u^p,\;\;u(x,0)=u_0(x) \] in \(\mathbb {R}^n\times (0,T)\). The functions \(a\) and \(u_0\) are supposed to be compactly supported.
