This paper gives the affirmative answer to the Nash problem for \(E_6\) singularity on an surface. Though the result of this paper is contained in the recent result of \textit{J. F. Bobadilla} and \textit{M. P. Pereira} [Ann. Math. (2) 176, No. 3, 2003--2029 (2012; Zbl 1264.14049)] who proved the affirmative answer to the Nash problem for surfaces by topological method, the authors result makes sense, because their proof is algebraic.
