A pair of deterministic oscillators is coupled through a small noise input given by scaled Brownian motions. The main result is a derivation of the approximate Fokker-Planck equation by using multiple time-scales analysis and linearization. This allows for the derivation of a parametrized expression for the approximate stationary density, which helps to analyze the various qualitative types of the behavior of the dynamics such as the onset of synchronization. Numerical experiments are provided to support these calculations. | |||
