After a short description of the known ``no-collision paradox'' arising at the usage of the Navier boundary conditions with slip in the investigation of the influence of boundary conditions at the fluid-solid interaction in the problem about free fall of a sphere above a wall in a viscous incompressible fluid the authors have proposed new insights on the contact problem considering the effect of Navier boundary conditions in the context of the full Navier- Stokes system. The case of mixed boundary conditions is also examined. | |||
