This paper discusses the existence of a global attractor for a family of processes \(U_\sigma (t,\tau)\) which act on a metric space \(X\), not necessarily complete, and depend on a parameter \(\sigma\) belonging to another metric space \(\Sigma\). Such an attractor is uniform with respect to \(\sigma \in \Sigma\), as well as with respect to the choice of the initial time \(\tau \in \mathbb{R}\). The existence of the attractor is established for totally dissipative processes without any continuity assumption. When the process satisfies certain continuity-like hypotheses, a characterization of the attractor is provided. The results are then applied to the study of a general class of nonautonomous differential problems. Specifically, the authors focus on a single process \(U_g(t,\tau)\) generated by a nonautonomous differential equation on a Banach space \(X\) of the form \[ \frac{d}{dt}u(t)=\mathcal{A}(u(t))+g(t), \] where \(\mathcal{A}\) is a densely defined operator on \(X\), and the parameter \(g\) is a function defined on \(\mathbb{R}\) with values in another normed space.
