Pythagorean-hodograph curves admit Hermite interpolation to data stemming from continuously differentiable functions, and they are from spaces spanned by powers and trigonometric functions (mixed) of dimension six. Their construction, important properties, and their geometrical features are studied in this article, as well as their comparison with purely algebraic curves.
