Let \(K(r)= \frac{\pi}{2} F(1/2,1/2;1; r^2)\), \(r \in (0,1)\), and \[ \mu(r) =\frac{\pi}{2} \frac{K(\sqrt{1-r^2})}{K(r)}\,, \] where \(F(a,b;c; x)\) stands for the Gaussian hypergeometric function. The authors prove that for \(0<r<1\), \(0 <\beta <\alpha\), the following sharp functional inequality holds \( 1< \mu(r^{\alpha})/ \mu(r^{\beta})<\alpha/\beta \,\).
