The main goal of the paper is to find a necessary and sufficient condition on the data below the standing wave to determine the global behavior of the solution to the focusing mass-supercritical semilinear Schrödinger equation with a repulsive Dirac delta potential: \[ \begin{cases} i\partial_t u +\frac12 \partial^2_xu+\gamma\delta_0u+|u|^{p-1}u=0,& (t,x)\in \mathbb{R}\times \mathbb{R}, \\ u(0,x)=u_0(x)\in H^1(\mathbb{R}). & \;\end{cases} \] Here \(\gamma\leq 0\), \(\delta_0\) denotes the Dirac delta with the mass at the origin, and \(p>5\). Let us note that the system is locally well-posed in the energy space \(H^1(\mathbb{R})\) and there exist standing wave solutions \(e^{i \omega t}Q_{\omega,\gamma}(x)\) when \(\omega>\frac12\gamma^2\), where \(Q_{\omega,\gamma}\) is a unique positive solution to \(\frac12\partial^2_xQ+\omega Q-\gamma\delta_0 Q=|Q|^{p-1}Q\), cf.
