The authors consider a simple random walk on the two dimensional comb lattice, where the non-zero transition probabilities are equal to 1/4 if the particle is on the horizontal axis and they are equal to 1/2 otherwise. They established earlier strong approximation theorems leading to a Strassen-type almost sure set of limit points [Electron. J. Probab. 14, 2371--2390 (2009; Zbl 1190.60020)]. In this paper, they extend their results to general distributions along the horizontal and vertical directions. They present an exhaustive list of references.
