Let \(E\) be a Banach space with its dual \(E^*\). For \(q>1\), \(E\) is said to be \(q\)-uniformly smooth if there exists a number \(c>0\) such that \(\varrho_E(\tau):=\sup\{\frac12(\|x+\tau y\|+\|x-\tau y\|)-1:\|x\|\leq1,\|y\|\leq1\}\leq c\tau^q\) for all \(\tau\geq0\). In this paper, the authors study the finite family of \((q)-k\)-strict pseudocontractions, that is, \(T:C\to E\) satisfying the property: \[ \langle Tx-Ty,J_q(x-y)\rangle\leq\|x-y\|^q-k\|x-y-(Tx-Ty)\|^q\text{ for all }x\in C, \] where \(C\subset E\) and \(J_q:E\to E^*\) is defined by \[ \langle x, J_q(x)\rangle =\|x\|^q \text{ and } \|J_q(x)\|=\|x\|^{q-1}. \] Under some additional and suitable assumptions, they obtain weak and strong convergence theorems for a common fixed point of the family.
