Property / review text

Symmetry is an important property for both wavelets and frames, because it is related to the linear phase. On the other hand, filters with rational coefficients are desirable in applications. The authors of this paper provide a necessary and sufficient condition to construct a symmetric framelet system with rational coefficients.

Symmetry is an important property for both wavelets and frames, because it is related to the linear phase. On the other hand, filters with rational coefficients are desirable in applications. The authors of this paper provide a necessary and sufficient condition to construct a symmetric framelet system with rational coefficients.
