This paper considers a system of \(n\) equations of the form \[ (\partial_{tt}-\Delta+m_i^2)u_i+|\partial_tu_i|^{p_i-1}\partial_tu_i=f_i(u_1,\dots,u_n), \] where \(1\leq i\leq n\), on \({\mathbb R}_+\times\Omega\), where \(\Omega\) is a smooth bounded domain in \({\mathbb R}^3\), with Dirichlet boundary conditions, and gives sufficient conditions for blow-up. It is assumed in particular that (i) the \(f_i\) are of the form \(\partial F/\partial u_i\), where \(F=a|u_1+\dots+u_n|^4+b|u_1\dots u_n|^2\) with \(a\) and \(b\) positive and (ii) \(F\) is bounded above and below by quantities of the form \(c(|u_1|^4+\dots+|u_n|^4)\) with \(c>0\). The results extend in particular those of \textit{K. Agre} and \textit{M.A. Rammaha} [Differ. Integral Equ. 19, No. 11, 1235--1270 (2006; Zbl 1212.35268)] for systems of two equations with \(m_i=0\).
