Frame expansions in separable Banach spaces (Q557024): Difference between revisions

The idea of a so-called Banach frame in a separable Banach space as an analogue of the usual concept of a frame in Hilbert space is developed here. In particular, several results concerning expansions in terms of such frames are proved and limitations and contrasts between this generalization to more general Banach spaces and the properties of frames in Hilbert space are noted.
