A continued fraction \(K(a_ n(z)/b_ n(z))\) with entire elements \(a_ n\), \(b_ n\) may converge in a union \(\Omega\) of disjoint domains to a meromorphic function f(z), such that f cannot be continued analytically from one component of \(\Omega\) to another. In the present paper sufficient conditions for ruling out this possibility for limit k- periodic continued fractions are given.
