The authors give an interesting approach for obtaining the asymptotic behavior of oscillatory integrals of Hankel type. For certain values of parameters the integrals reduce to important classes of trigonometric integrals. The method is essentially restricted to a class of functions having a representation of a Laplace transformation. The idea is quite interesting but the considerations about the asymptotic properties are formal. The authors show successfully how to handle a class of integrals for which the well-known method of integrating by parts does not work.
