Some causality conditions for a space-time M are characterized by the injectivity of certain maps into the power set P(M). The only non-trivial cases are the following: i) Strong causality can be characterized by the injectivity of `common future of the past of a point' or `common past of the future of a point'. ii) Stable causality can be characterized by the injectivity of `Seifert past of a point' or `Seifert future of a point'.
