Positive PC (Perron-Carathéodory) fractions were introduced in connection with the trigonometric moment problem. In this paper it is proved that the even convergents converge by using the nesting subsets arguments common in continued fraction theory rather than appealing to normal families. The a posteriori bounds thus obtained are best.
