\textit{Y.-G. Oh} and \textit{J.-S. Park} [see Invent. Math. 161, No.~2, 287--360 (2005; Zbl 1081.53066)] described the moduli space of coisotropic submanifolds modulo the Hamiltonian isotopy in a symplectic manifold, and its formal counterpart, and unraveled the geometric and algebraic structures that govern the deformation problem of such submanifolds. In the same paper, they analysed a one parameter family of examples \(Y_{\alpha}\subset \mathbb{R}^6\), \(\dim Y_{\alpha} =4\), \(\alpha \in \mathbb{R}\), from the mechanics of harmonic oscillator that illustrates that the deformation problem is obstructed in general. In this paper, the author revisits and completes their example. He shows that the coisotropic deformation problem is obstructed if \(\alpha \in \mathbb{Q}\) (in this case the reduced space \(Y_{\alpha}/{\mathcal F}\) is an orbifold, where \({\mathcal F}\) is the corresponding null foliation of \(Y_{\alpha}\)) or if \(\alpha\in \mathbb{R}\setminus\mathbb{Q}\) is a Liouville number, and unobstructed in the case when \(\alpha \in \mathbb{R}\setminus\mathbb{Q}\) satisfies a diophantine condition. To prove obstructedness, the author's main tool is Haefliger's integration-over-leaves [see \textit{A. Haefliger}, J. Differ. Geom. 15, 269--284 (1980; Zbl 0444.57016), \S 3]. Two open questions are formulated.
