The author announces three theorems on the number of zeros of trigonometric sums, published with proofs in [Probl. Inf. Transm. 39, No. 1, 78--91 (2003); translation from Prob. Peredachi Inf. 39, No. 1, 88--102 (2003; Zbl 1081.11058)]. For example, Theorem 3 is as follows: The trigonometric sum \[ S(\alpha)= \sum_{a< x\leq b}\cos(2\pi\alpha x^c) \] has a zero of odd order on any interval \((\xi,\xi+b^{-c})\) laying within \((\alpha_1,\alpha_2)\). Specifically, the number of zeros of \(S(\alpha)\) on an interval \((\xi,\xi+1)\) laying within \((\alpha_1,\alpha_2)\) is no less than \(b^c\).
