The authors of the paper under review prove that the divergence \(\text{Div}(n,\tfrac 12)\) of a twin building lattice is linear. By Lemma 3.17 (i) of \textit{C. Druţu, S. Mozes} and \textit{M. Sapir}, [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 362, No. 5, 2451-2505 (2010; Zbl 1260.20065)], this implies that asymptotic cones of twin building lattices do not admit cutpoints. The proof is based on the fact that twin building lattices are non-distorted by \textit{P.-E. Caprace} and \textit{B. Rémy}, [Geom. Dedicata 147, 397-408 (2010; Zbl 1205.20042)], and an analysis of the divergence of the opposites geometry of the underlying twin building.
