In this paper \( \Omega \subset R^{n}\) is an NTA domain with a harmonic measure \(\omega\). For a \(Q \in \partial \Omega\), \(\mathrm{Tan}(\omega, Q)\) denotes the set of tangent measures of \(\omega\) at \(Q\). For a harmonic polynomial \(h\), \(\omega_{h}\) is the associated harmonic measure; \(\mathcal{P}_{d}= \{\omega_{h}: h\) is a non-zero harmonic polynomial of degree \(\leq d\) and \(h(0)=0 \}\) and \(\mathcal{F}_{k}= \{\omega_{h}: h\) is a homogeneous harmonic polynomial of degree \(k\}\). The author proves some results, using geometric measure theory, about the tangent measures to harmonic measures. The major result is: Let \(\Omega \subset R^{n}\) be an NTA domain with a harmonic measure \(\omega\). If \(Q \in \partial \Omega \) and \(\mathrm{Tan}(\omega, Q) \subset \mathcal{P}_{d}\), then \(\mathrm{Tan}(\omega, Q) \subset \mathcal{F}_{k}\) for some \(1 \leq k \leq d\). Also several results about the mutual absolute continuity of some harmonic measures are proved. In the paper [``Free boundary regularity below continuous threshold: 2-phase problems'', J. Reine Angew. Math. 596, 1--44 (2006; Zbl 1106.35147)], \textit{C. Kenig} and \textit{T. Toro} study the solutions of a two-phase boundary problem; the author gives some geometrical information about these solutions.
