For a finite-dimensional simple complex Lie algebra \(\mathfrak{g}\) the authors study the locally finite part of the algebra of \(\mathfrak{g}\)-invariant linear operators on the tensor product of the symmetric algebra of \(\mathfrak{g}\) with the direct sum of all simple finite-dimensional \(\mathfrak{g}\)-modules. To every dominant integral weight the authors associate a subalgebra of this locally finite part and show that this subalgebra is Koszul. Varying the weight the authors obtain a series of algebras which approximate an infinite-dimensional Koszul algebra, whose Koszul dual is described explicitly. The algebras the authors construct also admit a simple description via quivers and relations. The results of the paper are motivated by the study of the category of finite-dimensional representations of quantum loop algebras.
