The problem under consideration is existence of solutions of the integral BVP for the scalar equation \[ \begin{cases} x'(t)=f(t,x(t),x(\alpha(t)), \int_0^{\beta(t)}k(t,s)x(\gamma(s))ds, \int_0^{T}h(t,s)x(\delta(s))ds), \\ x(0)=\lambda_1 x(\tau)+\lambda_2 \int_0^{T}\omega(s,x(s))ds+k, \end{cases} \] where \(0\leq t \leq T\), \(0<\tau\leq T\), \(\lambda_1, \lambda_2\) and \(k\) are real parameters, all functions are continuous. The authors use a comparison method and the monotone iterative technique to obtain some results about existence extremal solutions in the most common case and a unique solution in special cases. Also they compare the obtained results with similar results of the predecessors: \textit{T. Jankowski} [J. Comput. Appl. Math. 147, No. 1, 1--8 (2002; Zbl 1019.34006); J. Comput. Appl. Appl. 300, No. 1, 1--11 (2004; Zbl 1068.45015)].
