On the atomic decomposition for Hardy spaces (Q1057442)

The author gives a new proof of the atomic decomposition for distributions in \(H^ p({\mathbb{R}}_+^{n+1})\), \(0<p\leq 1\). The proof uses only properties of the nontangential maximal function \(u^*\) and is adapted to give a proof of the Chang-Fefferman decomposition for \(H^ p({\mathbb{R}}^ 2_+\times {\mathbb{R}}^ 2_+)\).
