Der Aufsatz bezweckt, ohne graphische oder symbolische Hülfsmittel ein Resultat herzustellen, das von Hrn. Kempe bemerkt ist, nämlich dass jede Seminvariante der binären Form \((a_0,a_1,a_2,\dots,a_n\between x,y)^n\) eine Invariante jener Form und ihrer Folge von Ableitungen in Bezug auf \(x\) ist.
